The DataBar Stacked barcode specification is used in IDAutomation Barcode Fonts, Components and Applications to create a DataBar Stacked Barcode, which can encode the 14-digit GTIN. If less than 14 digits are being encoded, zeros are appended to the beginning of the data. If additional data needs to be encoded such as an expiration date or serial number, please consider the GS1 DataBar Expanded symbology.
- Using DataBar Stacked Barcode Fonts with a feature level 9 or greater font encoder returns text formatted to DataBar 13 barcode specifications.
- Using the DataBar Stacked option in all Components and Applications will produce a readable barcode image.
