Melt Bar and Grilled

COMING RIGHT UP...

Great Moments in Melt History – “This Thing Hasn’t Fizzled Out Yet.”

The Melt Tattoo Family started as just a cheesy idea. One of those, “There’s no way this could work, right?” moments.

Melt Tattoo Family ReunionMelt Bar & Grilled owner and founder Matt Fish remembers, “The Tattoo Family was born because I wanted to do something unique and fun for the restaurant but also for the people that come to the restaurant. I thought, hey, 10, 20, 30 people might do it. My friends will do it, and then it’s going to fizzle out.”

This past September, the first-ever Melt Tattoo Family Reunion drew a capacity crowd of grilled cheese connoisseurs that made the ultimate Melt fandom commitment of a tattoo.

“10 years later, the tattoo family has grown to almost 750 people and it’s phenomenal,” says Fish. “This thing hasn’t fizzled out yet.”

Melt Tattoo Family members join an exclusive club when the ink dries, giving them 25% off any purchase at Melt Bar & Grilled for life. At the September reunion, Melt Tattoo Family members were heard to say, “tattoos are normally seen as art, but my Melt tattoo is an investment; its paid for itself several times over!” and “25% off the food is nice; 25% off the drinks is – nicer!”
